Who is Daniel?

In 2016 my wife and I honeymooned in Lake Tahoe. We decided to cut it a few days short and head down the famous HWY 1. As we drove through Big Sur we thought to ourselves, “wow, what a life, this would be the greatest…” And then it hit us. “Umm, we just got married, new life, let’s do it!” And 6 months later we did it and are never looking back.

You get what I mean right? It’s that same sense of adventure, calm, and excitement all wrapped up that makes this place perfect for tying the Knot!

Monterey County is such a unique place in California. Isn’t it true? The amazing coast, “summery” valley, endless vineyards and wineries, to me it’t the most amazing place to call home! I find so much inspiration from the environment and I want to communicate that in your photos! You have decided to start your new life in Monterey and I want to infuse your session with this gorgeous location.

How I photograph weddings

I have been photographing weddings since 2009 while in college in Southern California. After taking a few years off to continue pursuing a masters degree, getting married, and moving to Monterey I realized something about myself, I needed to be creative! Wedding photography was such a huge way for me to be creative and produce a memory that, when people look at 1 year, 5 years, or 20 years down the road, will make people smile and foster more love in the world. To me, it’s an investment in the future.
